This web site is in its very early construction
phase but we invite you to join us along the way as it grows and
flourishes. A project so encompassing of all Georgia water has
to offer will never be complete. If you have any information you
would like to add or would like to advertise in this section please
email us.
Georgia's Island Shores
Georgia's barrier
islands extend along the Atlantic coast from Ossabaw Island
near Savannah all the way down to Cumberland Island, near
Florida. Although some have been developed, others, such
as Cumberland and Little St. Simons, still linger in the
19th century. Some of the islands are accessible only by
boat.
